Most older properties of the Southwest are not without this important and versatile building. It provided protected storage, shade for wagons, buggies, horses and automobiles. It was the pefect place for shoeing the horses and served as a multi-purpose workroom.
Our family owes much to the horse, as Michael's musician grandfather Fred Ronstadt began work in Tucson in a carriage shop, eventually forming his own shop that grew through many years and forms to become the F. Ronstadt Company, a large hardware and supply company of the southwest. Along the way Fred became one of the first automobile dealers in the state. So you never know what's going to come out of the "old stables"!
