We have admired the songs on this recording, since we were very young. This collection of songs honors our ancestors, preserves our heritage, and re-introduces a treasure of music written in Mexico and in the American Southwest. There exists an incredible number of wonderful, traditional Mexican songs. The ones we chose to showcase are presented in a pure and honest fashion-the way you would hear them performed at a fiesta or around a campfire. We truly hope you enjoy this CD.
